Developed after extensive research and in cooperation with experienced pilots. the Sennheiser S1 Digital ANR headset breaks new ground in performance and comfort for premium end headsets.

Unlike many ANR headsets the S1 provides a unique combination of passive attenuation and Sennheiser's own NoiseGard ANR and their brand new adaptive digital noise compensation.

Put simply, when the headset is without power, its excellent passive attenuation provides an acceptable level of noise reduction. However switching the ANR on, transforms the noise compensation to the highest levels seen. But this still does allow for differences in flight noise, ( climb, descend etc). This is where the new S1 comes into its own. On the ear cup is a smart update button, a digital frequency adaptor that scans the noise and changes the ANR to match. At the push of this button the Digital ANR will adapt its NoiseGard filters to the actual noise environment, thereby providing excellent speech intelligibility for communication in the cockpit and with air traffic control (ATC).

Comfort & Technology

With adjustable contact pressure for the ear cups and a special comfort zone for glasses –, as well as a Bluetooth interface and clear voice transmission with a user-customisable treble boost function. The headset is rounded off by a stylish design by BMW DesignWorks USA.
