The Kannad XS-4 GPS PLB is a personal location beacon which is compact
in design and light-weight. The Kannad XS-4 uses 406 MHz emergency signal and
integral GPS for positioning. The Kannad XS-4 PLB is very compact and
will fit comfortably into the smallest pocket or flight bag compartment. Once
activated the Kannad XS-4 transmits a unique identification signal along with
your current position via the international COSPAS SARSAT search and rescue
satellite system operated on 406 MHz. The signal is then passed to regional
search and rescue authorities who can despatch quickly to the situation. The
Fastfind range is subscription free and does not rely on commercial call
centres.
Kannad XS-4 also features a unique SOS LED flash light facility which
manually activated to further assist in speeding up your recovery during night
time rescues.
